CHI Celebrates World Kindness Day with vulnerable children on the 12th & 19th Nov.

Target: Young Disadvantaged Children 0 – 6
In commemoration of World Kindness Day celebrated worldwide on November 13th also in line with the organization’s core motivation (Luke 4:18-19 & Gal 5:22). Caring Hearts Initiative will be reaching out to young disadvantaged children 0 – 6 in Agege and Ikorodu communities.
The aim is to promote the importance of being kind to each other and the world at large irrespective of religion, class or ethnic difference with a purpose of driving home the understanding that compassion for others binds everyone together
The theme for this year’s program is: ‘A CARING HEART A GIVING HEART’
Highlight of event include:
- Provision of breakfast for 500 most vulnerable children in the slum of Agege and Ikorodu
- Provision of nutrition education to caregivers
- Orientation on Early Childhood Development (ECD)
- Distribution of clothing.
Objective: To promote nutritional wellbeing of Children in vulnerable households.
Desired outcome:
- 500 young disadvantaged children 0-6 in 2 LGAs (Agege & Ikorodu) would be encouraged and liberated.
- Caregivers of young disadvantaged children 0-6 would be educated and motivated on the importance of nutrition in the development of their children.
- 500 young disadvantaged children 0-6 in 2 LGAs (Agege & Ikorodu) would have received quality nutritional support as a result of the activity.
- More awareness would have been created in these 2 LGAs (Agege & Ikorodu)
At this event, the organization will be having a simple breakfast of tea, bread and egg with the children in their environment.
With your kind donation of just Five Hundred Naira N500, a child will be provided with breakfast of bread, egg and tea on that day. Sponsors will also have the logo of their company on our fliers and banners displayed on CHI’s website.
